Master Sheldon

  • 30 years of experience practicing and teaching martial arts, including wrestling, Shuai Chiao (Chinese wrestling), Judo, Jujitsu, submission grappling, Chi Na (catching and joint locking), San Shou and Shaolin Tiger Kung Fu.

  • Studied Judo and Jujitsu under Sensei Hiro Fujimoto, one of the highest ranking practitioners outside of Japan, and a former president of the United States Judo Federation.

  • Trained with Dr. Daniel Weng, a student of the legendary Grandmaster Ch’ang Tung Sheng, the father of modern-day Shuai Chiao, and learned Tiger style Kung Fu from Grandmaster Mollica.

Master Sheldon successfully competed in numerous martial arts tournaments, under a variety of rules.  He is a former Shuai Chiao and full-contact national champion.  He is also one of the first martial artists in the Midwest to combine techniques from striking, throwing and submission wrestling into a complete and effective fighting system.

Master Sheldon has taught self-defense and martial arts at Ohio State University as well as schools in Columbus, Detroit and Chicago.  He is also an authority on strength training and fitness.
